For today, we continue on the ‘Introduction’ theme and suggest that you let people know how you got started in your niche or market. Give your readers a small glimpse into your history and why you are doing what you do.
It’s hard to believe but I began my site 17 years ago when Charlie turned one because David had said I needed to get a job and being a new mom, I didn’t want to leave my son with someone while I worked. While David was at work, I researched companies to join but knew we didn’t have the money to spend.
I reached out to a friend to ask her what she was doing as I saw her post online a lot. She let me know she was blogging, but she didn’t think I could do it. Look at me 17 years later and I’ve come through the “mommy-blogging” phase and I’m still here while my so-called friend isn’t anywhere to be found.
Through the LORD and my families help and support I’ve homeschooled my son and turned my site into more than a mommy blog and I hope it continues to grow as I bring Charlie’s fiancé onto to share cooking recipes with everyone.
