Charlie and I are excited to welcome you to our Would You Rather Challenge: January 14, 2025. The challenge was created to get children off electronics and to get conversation flowing in our family. By asking a question at dinner we all answer and discuss.

You can do the same thing with The Ultimate Book of Would You Rather Questions: 1001 Family-Friendly Challenges for Kids, Teens and Adults by Kimberly McLeod. If your #Homeschooling your children, you can use the book for free reading time or like we did in Charlie’s Creative Writing Course. Or you can share the questions on your Social Media sites like I do to get people to talk to each other.

Would you rather find a rare Seashell or a rare gem? Why?

Finding a rare Seashell would be fun because it means we would have to visit a Beach but finding a rare gem is something we could turn into a gift for someone we love. Or we could sell the gem to help with bills that need to be paid.

If I had to choose, I would pick the rare gem. When I asked David, he said a rare Seashell because he knows I’ve always wanted to visit a true Beach, and he could take me with him to find the seashell to get me away for a while. Now, you see what I love this man of mine.

Charlie said he would like to have a rare gem because if it was big enough, he would have the gem split in two pieces and create a engagement/promise ring for Mikayla and also make a necklace for me or a bracelet Charlie said.

Would you rather find a rare Seashell or a rare gem? Why?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
