Welcome back to Charlie’s would you rather challenge for September 1st, 2025. Even though I hate to admit it I’m a day late. What can I say? Other than life goes on. If you want to come visit me you would understand why I’m late sharing the Would You Rather Challege with you.
I know I’ve said it before but I wanted to remind you this challenge is brought from the children’s book The Ultimate Book of Would You Rather Questions: 1001 Family-Friendly Challenges for Kids, Teens and Adults by Kimberly McLeod (Author).
My family chooses one question a day to answer which we share our answers with you. The book is a great way to get conversation moving between families and can even be used when #Homeschooling your children.
Would you rather be the tiniest animal (a Water Bear) or the largest animal (a Blue Whale)? Why?
Charlie and I had heard of a Blue Whale before but not a Water Bear which would was a teaching moment for our family as we researched what a Water Bear is so we could answer our would you rather challenge this morning,
After reading about a Water Bear but Charlie and I decided we would rather be the world’s largest animal a Blue Whale because no, one would be able to step on us and people would be able to see us and they would know what we were.
David also said he would rather be a Blue Whale but if he could hide and no, one would recognize him he might not mind being a Water Bear because he could live in the Ocean and swim away if someone was bothering him.
What about you. Would you rather be the tiniest animal (a Water Bear) or the largest animal (a Blue Whale)? Why?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
