Which means Charlie and I will be staying inside I thought you might be looking for things to do this weekend. So I am back to share this week’s Free Fun Weekend Events: Dec. 2-4. If you attend any of the events listed stop back by and let Charlie and I know which events you attended and what you thought of them.

If your looking for fun on a budget, we have compiled a list of national retailers with hands-on workshops, classes, and free in-store events for this weekend and more that are coming soon. As always, we thank our friends at More with Less.

 I would like to ask you to share this fun, money-saving list with your friends and family. It’s still best to call ahead to be sure that your local store is participating to avoid disappointment.

Bank of America Museums on Us- Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th

Bank of America Museums on Us is offering free admission to more than 150 museums nationwide. Present your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general entry to any participating institution. Home Depot Workshops for Kids- Saturday, December 3rd from 9 AM – 12:00 PM

Gingerbread Man Candy Dish craft. All kids get to keep their work, receive a free certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin (while supplies last). Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

Saturday, December 3rd from 11 AM – 3 PM and a few locations offer crafts on Sunday.

Kids design and make an Arctic Polar Bear craft.

Macy’s will donate $1 for every mailed letter to the Make a Wish Foundation, up to $1,000,000. Find a red mailbox to place your message and get more information from Macy’s.

Lego Stores Free Model Build

Free LEGO Model Build Events are usually held monthly in stores.

Kids ages 6 to 14 can build a model and take it home.

You must use an email address saved in your LEGO VIP Membership account.

Membership and registration are free.

Every 4th grader will get Every Kid in the Park pass food for FREE admission to all of America’s National Parks. Classes are held on Sunday at more than 60 stores across the USA.

:: SKI Passport for 5th Graders

Go to www.5thgradeskipassport.com to get a free pass in Idaho or the Pacific Northwest.

For other areas, search for your state with the words “5th-grade ski pass + your state“, or the name of your local ski resort.

Target is also sponsoring FREE community events ranging from free museum admission, free theater tickets, family activities and tours at some of our country’s most famous venues.
