I would like to share a addition to our Christmas Gift Guide 23: 101 Things to Do With Bacon, new edition by Eliza Cross I received for this review and a spot in our Gift Guide. You can purchase this cookbook on Amazon.

Did you know my great nice Lily and her dad David are like me and believe Bacon should be served at every meal? As for Charlie and David not so much. For there Christmas Stockings this year I want to purchase a copy of 101 Things to Do With Bacon new edition along with a Gift Card to there local grocery store to get Bacon and David’s favorite Mini Smokies so they can make Sweet-and-Savory Bacon Smokies for dinner.

I love how the cookbook is small because it would fit in my purse when traveling and still allow me to feed my family while on the road. The write rings keeps the book open at all times which makes cooking easy to use. The cover is nice bright yellow with a pan and Bacon on the cover. Don’t look if your hungry.

There is a table of contents listing all the recipes so we can always find what were looking for broken down into sections like Breakfast and Salads. The Author included helpful tips we can use when cooking. Which will make teaching Charlie easier.

I learned ways to store Bacon I never knew about and no, I am not going to tell you what they were because you need to pick up the book and find out for yourself. I printed out some of the tips so we always have them on hand when cooking like never pour Bacon grease down the drain.

I’ve always told Charlie and I I love breakfast Quesadilla’s. In the book is a recipe for Bacon, Egg and Cheese Quesadillas I want to make for Thanksgiving breakfast because Charlie is obsessed with Ground Beef Quesadillas giving Charlie something new to try. Would you like to join us?

There is a recipe for Crispy Bacon and Cheddar Potato Skins which I can’t wait to make because I love Potato Skins and I’ve always wanted to learn how to make them instead of purchasing frozen Potato Skins or spending money eating out.

There is a recipe for Loaded Baked Potato Soup I would like to prepare and invite my friend Debbie and my sister Deborah over for lunch. I wouldn’t be surprised in Charlie doesn’t invite himself to our lunch. Don’t forget to check out Side Dishes and Desserts.
