If you home is like mine Charlie is going Stir Crazy now. He wants to go to the store or out to eat. Heck, even to the park to play and he can’t do any of these things.

I can imagine you might trying to keep your kids occupied in your house as well. Which is a 24/7 or a full-time job. I thought these games might help switch things up, while still encouraging learning.

Math is one of the hardest subjects for me to teach. If I can find board games that will help me and Charlie then you van bet your bottom dollar I will be purchasing it.

I can hand the math games down to Jason and Lily once Charlie is done learning what the game teaches. Once they have learned all they can they can give it back to me for Elijah.

SMATH

For the math whiz, step Smath up to multiplication and division! Each tile has a point value that is earned once it is played. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

Sequence For Kids

It’s the classic game of Sequence made just for kids! Play an animal card from your hand, and place your chip on the corresponding animal on the board.

Wild cards add excitement to the game – use a unicorn card to place your chip anywhere, or use a dragon card to remove an opponent’s chip. The first player with four chips in a row wins!

This exciting strategy game helps develop logical thinking skills. The best part? Everyone can play because reading isn’t required to win!

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
