A to Z Challenge Letter E Eggs

I was preparing the post for this morning’s A to Z Challenge Letter E Eggs. I knew I wanted to share Eggs. As I thought about what type of Eggs I wanted to share I knew there was no, better way to share Eggs. Than a recipe for Deviled Eggs.

Before I share a recipe for Deviled Eggs I would like to share a story with you about Charlie and Deviled Eggs and to ask you to come and share any cute stories you have regarding food your children have came up with.

Charlie calls Deviled Eggs Scared Eggs because he couldn’t remember that there called Deviled Eggs. Now, anytime we make Deviled Eggs there called Scared Eggs.

Potato Salad Charlie call’s it Redneck Food and why he does this I have no, clue and he hasn’t ever told me. All I can say is thank God he will eat Potato Salad because for the longest time Charlie wouldn’t.

Deviled Eggs

6 eggs

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1 teaspoon yellow mustard

1/8 teaspoon salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Smoked Spanish paprika, for garnish

Slice the eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and place in a medium bowl. Place the whites on a serving platter. Mash the yolks into a fine crumble using a fork. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Evenly disperse the yolk mixture into the egg whites.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
