Adore Me

Would you help me welcome a new Christmas Gift Guide Sponsor to our Christmas Gift Guide Shopping for: Women. I can’t wait until I have the opportunity to purchase some of these items for myself.

The products we’ll walk you through aren’t the standard holiday-themed bestsellers (the Gyngerthe Claussa). Instead, we’re going to explore:

  • an astrology-inspired lingerie theme
  • a knee-length, ultra-comfortable hoodie
  • the reinvention of the push-up bra
  • panties made from deadstock fabric

1. We’re Seeing Stars

This year, while working from home, our designers turned to the night sky for inspiration. We have already seen the star-motif trend take off in the past few years, and our team’s curiosity around stargazing and astrology arose even more ahead of December’s Great Solstice Conjunction.

This month, Adore Me lingerie and pajamas feature hand-drawn stars and zodiac signs constellations to fire up our customers’ imagination and encourage them to explore the beauty and the mystery of the skies above.

Kaitlin Wilbur, Design Director, Adore Me:
“After last year’s big success, we wanted to bring back celestial print with a twist. So, we took our best-selling Brittany bra and changed out the embroidery. Fun fact: I hand drew the Estella stars, while Arianna hand drew in the zodiac signs constellations – find your sign!”

Arianna Levin, Senior Designer, Adore Me:
“The most recent shift in the celestial theme was to the Mystic Order trend that taps into the idea of spirituality and mysticism through the stars. For this piece, I opted for finer lines and layering details to create the starry night scene for a truly Adore Me original artwork.”

2. Super soft, cozy sleepwear
Cozy clothes have become the everyday norm throughout the pandemic, and wearing loungewear all day no longer comes with shame. We wanted to give a new take on homewear with Charlie. Created with the seamless transition from day to night in mind, this hoodie sleepshirt is perfect for both Zoom calls and Netflix marathons.

Arianna Levin, Senior Designer, Adore Me:
“Ultimate comfort and function are the winning combinations in our newest sleep and lounge styles. To play with texture, Charlie sleepshirt uses the softest brushed knit mixed with a brushed waffle fabric. The streetwear details of the front pocket and hood give this style that extra bit of flare.”

3. The reinvention of the push up with the Camila Push-Up
Unlined plunge push-up bra that sculpts, adds fullness to the bust, and most importantly keeps everything in place — sounds almost too good to be true. But Adore Me team thinks no challenge is too big, even during one of our busiest seasons, and reinvents the push-up bra. We added this new shape to two styles — one with a lace overlay (Lily) and a super sexy longline (Camilla).

Kaitlin Wilbur, Design Director, Adore Me:
“The trick with the curve pad is how much [material] to cut away while making sure nothing ‘pops out.’ I added some hardware with a subtle sparkle to really make it pop and mixed the lace with the novelty mesh. We loved it so much we even re-colored it for VDay.”

4. Upcycled Panties
Nearly 15-20% of textile used in the manufacturing of clothes ends up as waste. There are many products being created that help bring new life to that waste, and four of our new panty styles incorporate deadstock materials.

Fun fact: we use the leftover fabric from producers like Victoria’s Secret to create these

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
