Baking Imperfect By Lottie Bedlow

I would like to introduce you to a new cooking book from Thunder Bay Press Baking Imperfect By Lottie Below which I received a copy of in exchange for this review.

In Homeschool this year I decided to add a Home Economics Class which includes Cooking and Auto Body. This way when Charlie gets out on his own he will be able to take care of himself. Does Charlie like having to take these classes no, but he know there going to teach him life skills so he does them.

As he was progressing through the cooking class which Charlie has taken since he was 4 he found he didn’t mind cooking as much as he thought he did. Charlie even has a knack for finding a recipe online and adapting it into his own creation.

Charlie has been balking at reading once a day so I decided to purchase cookbooks and make Charlie find 3 recipes a week to create for us. This way Charlie isn’t only getting reading in Charlie is also getting Math and Science lessons which he didn’t recognize.

The first cookbook were going to use Baking Imperfect will allow Charlie to learn how to back which he can give as Gifts during the Holiday. Or turn his baking into a business. As well as spend time in the kitchen because Charlie’s grandmother likes to bake with Charlie and I believe Baking Imperfect will bring them closer together.

This evening Charlie and I sat down to browse through the book. As we did Charlie and I had fun discussing the cover of the book and all the foods the Author had created which Charlie can’t wait to taste. As well as discussing the show she was on which we want to see if we can find online to watch. Would you like to join us?

Charlie and I enjoyed reading the FAQ page and going through the glossary of cooking terms which we can use in our Spelling Class. Before you say I can’t have dessert for whatever reason there is more than just desserts in this Cookbook. Although. the first recipe Charlie and I plan on making is Sin-amon Rolls.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out Baking Imperfect I hope you do as soon as possible. With the Holidays right around the corner Baking Imperfect would be the perfect gift for cooks and non-cooks as well. Children wanting to learn to cook to adults that could be called a experienced cook.
