Barnes and Noble presents Dr. Seuss

Charlie, David and I went to Southlake 14 Harkins Theater and the Cheesecake Factory on Saturday. While we waited for the movie to begin we walked around the square.

We came upon a Barnes and Noble, I went inside to look around to see what they had on the Dr. Seuss whose Birthday is today along with Read Across America.

While there we happened on a display full of Dr. Seuss books and it was fun to see all the books he had written. Charlie and I discussed which books we had and hadn’t read.

Before we left Charlie let me know he would like to study Dr. Seuss which means a Field Trip to the Library to pick up books written about Dr. Seuss as well as books he had written.

As David walked down the aisles waiting on Charlie and I he found this full shelf of Dr. Seuss books. Charlie and I wanted to sit down and look through them but we would have been late to our movie.

I looked up at the wall and they had this Dr. Seuss sign on the wall which I wish I had when Suzzie was a baby because I could have done her Nursery in the Cat and the Hat instead of Mickey Mouse.

Charlie pointed out the Cat in the Hat in the car. Charlie said both signs would have made a nice decoration in our Reading corner or over our Library and I agreed with Charlie.

If you had these decorations from Dr. Seuss where would you put them at and why? Or is there someone you would give them to and if so who and why?

As we was getting ready to go back downstairs in Barnes and Noble Charlie found this Cat and the Hat he said he would get me for Easter in memory of Suzzane.

I can’t wait to get him and I hope Charlie purchases Horton Hears A Who for me because I can’t find my copy of this book. As well as Dr. Seuss cupcakes for a snack before we begin reading our books.
