Now that Christmas has passed I would like to share a Gift Charlie received which you would find inside our Christmas Gift guide 23: Showaflops who sent me Boat Shoes (Olive/Natural) in Olive. Charlie likes to say is brown. If truth were to be told I agree with Charlie on the color. How about you?
David and I grew up in the age of barefoot is better than wearing shoes but Charlie would sleep in shoes if he could which is why I’d been looking for a pair of shoes that could be worn in the showers. When renting a home you never know what or who was living in your home taking bath’s in your bathtub because you don’t get a new one when moving in.
The LORD was listening to me and had Showaflops contact me about a review which I struggled with because they had shoes I wanted as well as ones for David and Charlie. Being Charlie’s Birthday I asked Charlie to look through the website with me for a pair of shower shoes for David because he is always in the rain at the airport and I thought he could wear them there is what I said to Charlie.
I wanted to see if there were shoes Charlie liked and he picked out several pairs including Boat Shoes (Olive/Natural) because they just slide on and the clothes would look nice with jeans as well as dress clothes. I didn’t tell Charlie they were shower shoes because I wanted them to arrive and see what he thought before I told him.
Charlie asked me for a week up until Christmas if the shoes had arrived and I kept saying no, because there were wrapped and under the tree. Christmas Eve arrived and I handed Charlie his new pjs and the package with Boat Shoes (Olive/Natural) inside. As soon as Charlie opened them he stopped and put the shoes on.
Since that day its hard to get them off Charlie’s feet and he even wore the Loafers to Church because like Charlie said no, one knows there shower shoes. When I order in the future though I will go[ up a size as I picked out 11/12 and they are almost to short I should have gotten 12/13 and then even David might have been able to wear the loafers.
Charlie had me try them on and they were a bit big but there so comfortable that that didn’t bother me. I like how when I’m mopping the floor I don’t slip and slide. David tried them on and even said he would like to have a pair of these loafers as well. But I think I would get David Black Slides which he can use when going to get the mail or coming and going to the swimming pool.
I showed the black slides to Charlie he said he liked them but he would like to have Ombré. Then Charlie and I looked through the women’s shoes and I would like to have Leopard Platform Slide in memory of my mom who loved Leopard print. Now, I have a question for you. Do you like Leopard Print?
