This story would make a wonderful addition to #Homeschooling and #History Classes. I received a copy of the book in exchange for this review.

My family had heard of Ukraine but not of “Volodymyr and his fight for Ukraine. Had you? I like how the Author reminded us ” Freedom is a fragile thing. It needs to be cherished. It needs to be protected. And freedom depends on truth”. Which doesn’t always happen does it?

In Brave Volodymyr The Story of VOLOVYMYR Zelensky and the Fight for Ukraine we learn he was born to Jewish parents. When he grew up he became a Actor and Comedian. In 2019 he ran for President and he would have been fun to study when Charlie was learning about Presidents in his #homeschool history class.

We lean about the Country’s Flag and why it couldn’t be flown and the Author mentions the Soviet Union a Country we could have studied explaining about the Flag. The Author touches on Mosco and Russia as well.

Did you know Ukraine was called “the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic? a #teachiningmoment for my family. There was lies being told and Volodymyr didn’t like that. With his family being “Jewish” people weren’t always good to them.

Check out what happened in 1991 and have your children create a time line showing what happened. Volodymyr studied law and meet his wife Oleana who was studying architecture. He joined a Comedy Club.

Volodymyr started a Entertainment and Production Studio. Did you know he was the voice of “Paddington Bear”? Now, he has a child and its 2004 they Election wasn’t fair it was full of lies. They redid the election and someone else was chosen. To find out who you will need to read Brave Volodymyr The Story of VOLOVYMYR Zelensky and the Fight for Ukraine Written.

Then comes a second baby and another election. The new President lied and to find out what happens you will need to read Brave Volodymyr The Story of VOLOVYMYR Zelensky and the Fight for Ukraine Written.

Volodymyr creates a TV Show called “Servant of the People”. He pointed out the lies and corruption in the Country. He runs for President and wins in 2019. Make sure you check out what happened in 2022. Brave Volodymyr The Story of VOLOVYMYR Zelensky and the Fight for Ukraine was a learning experience for our family and we will be sharing the book with my nieces and nephews.

About the author

I have always loved words. My parents said I spoke in full sentences before I was a year old. They also said I didn’t walk until I was two.

I was still a baby when I saw a TV commercial about a vacuum cleaner and its expandable bag. That night, my parents begged me to eat “just one more bite.” I refused. Using a phrase I’d learned from the vacuum cleaner commercial, I explained, “My stomach is fully expanded.” My parents laughed…and I was saved from having to eat that dreadful “one more bite.”

My love of words extended to foreign languages. I was one of those kids who loved school. I loved Hebrew school, too. Learning Hebrew taught me that words can be composed of roots and that those roots can change, often in predictable ways. I noticed some of the rules I’d learned in Hebrew applied to English, too. I also love word games, puzzles, and etymology, learning about the origins of words.

Some of my other favorite things include being outside, exploring, and being around animals. When I was a child, I wanted a horse. I didn’t get one. But when I grew up, my husband and I moved to a farm. That’s where we raised our four children…and sheep, chickens, and rabbits. It’s also where some of my stories are based.

I also love teaching and have taught all ages, from babies through college. I’ve taught parents, too.

When I write stories, I combine so many of the things I love. I’m always learning and exploring…and having a fabulous time! For more information, please visit my website:
