Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Crazy Family

The other day we were at Walmart when I stopped by the book department to pick up a new book to read. I looked through all the books I came upon a fresh Chicken Soup for the Soul book called My Crazy Family: 101 Stories about the Wacky, Loveable People in our Lives. As soon as I saw the title, I stopped and flipped through the book, and as soon as I did, I knew it was the perfect book to read and to share with Charlie and David.

I even left the store just from flipping through the book, I had found a couple of stories that reminded me of my family, and I knew I needed this new book. As soon as I got home, I sat down to read Lucille Ball Jr as my daughter loved her and I knew this story would make me feel closer to her. As soon as I read the story, I couldn’t wait to share it with David because I could see my mom doing some of the things in this story.
I can’t wait to read Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow because if you were to take a look at David, you could see how this story matches him Because he is losing his hair faster than I thought possible. If the truth told I am also losing my hair and it is thinning out. I know I need to find something before I end up bald.
Excuse me but I am off to read a couple more stories in my new book, and I would like to let you know you do not have to read this book in the order it was written. You can start anywhere, and it will make sense. I  hope Chicken Soup for the Soul brings out a second and third book about My Crazy Family because if you took the time to read these stories I am sure I have a few I could add to this book and I bet you do as well.
