Two families in identical vans go grocery shopping and load the car with there packages. One family goes home to meet there dad to go to the park with. The other family needs to go to the library but decides to go to the park first before it gets dark. The families end up at the park at the same time. The kids ask each other to go play.

Look at the vans they look the same. Do you see anything different about them? I do a bumper sticker. Time to go and they decide to meet up another day as a playdate is just a text away. I remember for me as a child a playdate was a phone call away. We didn’t have cell phones and text messages. How about you?

Off to the library one of the family goes. Uh oh something is wrong when mischief happens. Do you know what it was? To find out you will need to pick up a copy of Minivan Mix-Up don’t let the pictures distract you from the story. Now, I have a question for you. Has anything like this happened to your family?

Charlie and I could understand why the book is for children from 4 to 6 but we believe children and adults of al ages will enjoy the story. Which should be in every school library and Pre-K and kindergarten classes. Also don’t forget the Christmas Holidays is right around the corner and you should pick up copies of the book to donate to children’s hospitals and the Angel Tree from the Salvation Army as well as Fire stations who collect new unwrapped toys and books. Yes, Charlie and I will be doing the same.

About:

From debut talent Juliana Gaddis and NY Times bestselling illustrator John Joseph comes the story of two families with identical minivans (save for one tiny bumper sticker!) who unknowingly switch vehicles for the day when their respective toddlers swap key fobs at thegrocery store.

With sparse text and bright, cinematic art Minivan Mix-Up weaves a silly (and relatable!) story about two different families celebrating their commonality and ultimately finding friendship.

Check out the press release for more information.

Thank you.
