Colonial Williamsburg

How are you this morning? As the week begins and I work on the blog I wanted to bring you a new Homeschooling Resource from the Homeschool Buyers Co-Op. The new Homeschool Resource is for a virtual field trip to learn about Colonial Williamsburg. Colonial Williamsburg isn’t something Charlie has learned about.
I am not sure if we will do the Virtual Field Trip right now. I know as he gets older, we will, and I may go on this Virtual Field Trip to Colonial Williamsburg on my own. I enjoy learning about History and Colonial Williamsburg and seeing how they lived and dressed.  I thought you might as well.

What is the the Idea of America?

Debate keeps America vibrant.
Debate over what course America should take.
Debate over our shared, democratic values.
Debate over the extent our shared values influence public policy & in which direction.

At its heart, America is an idea. What keeps this idea vibrant? Debate. The Idea of America is a digital U.S. history program that presents our nation’s rich history through an original framework that views America as an enduring “Great Debate.”
