Dragons

This week Charlie is wanting to study Dragons which means a trip to the local Museum if his dad is off. As well as to the Park to hunt for Dragons. Do you think we will find any?

In Charlie’s grandmothers neighborhood this Dragon is out front in one of the neighbors yards. Charlie would like to bring it home for his dad. In the meantime were going to use the Dragon in our Lesson plans.

Charlie will name the Dragon and write a story about where the Dragon came from and how the Dragon ended up in the neighborhood. Then Charlie will write a story about what the Dragon eats. Charlie will explain how the Dragon finds food or who feeds him.

Charlie will draw a picture of what the Dragon does all day. Charlie will tell us why he stays in this yard as well as where the Dragon sleeps.Charlie will draw a picture of what his bed looks like and why.

Charlie has even said he would like to pick up books on Dragons at the Library and ask the owner if he can bring his nieces and nephews down to sit with the Dragon and read to them.

If they say yes, Charlie and I plan on making Dragon Cookies for Girls or boys which we will take back up to the park once story time is over. While at the Park Charlie will teach the kids how to play Dragon Tag a game he and I made up.

We will have Art time and color Dragon coloring pages Charlie and I found through Google. Once the kids go home Charlie will continue his lessons on Dinosaurs which will include Spelling Words and Vocabulary.

For more Lessons I found Paper Dragon Puppet, Dragons,

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
