Family Game Time Includes Play Monster 5 Second Relay

This week has been so crazy busy that I needed to take several 5-minute relays just to catch my breath. So Charlie just told me to carry the game around with me to remind me to breath. What can I say other than children can be crazy and come up with off the walk stuff all the time. Which is where you will find 5 Second Relay fighting into our lives this week.

Preparing to play the game allowed Charlie and I to get out of our home as we walked to the Dollar Store to pick up batteries for the baton. Once we got home Charlie was able to take the back off and slide the batteries in without any issues at all. Then Charlie passed the baton to me to make sure it worked.

Then Charlie and I sat down to read the instructions which I did first them I handed them to Charlie to re-read and go over the directions with me as we sat the game up to play. Charlie let me hand out the cards then we each picked a stack of cards to answer. I love how this game can be for two or more people.

The more you have the more fun the game would be to play, and this is when I wish my mom was here because she would have loved playing with us. My sister Debbie was over the other day and Charlie needed to do homework and for something different he opened up a stack of the cards and we took turns answering the questions.

As we did Charlie said I wish Jason was here to play and I said that would be fine because he is 8 but Lily wouldn’t have been old enough because some of the questions wouldn’t be appropriate for her to answer or things she wouldn’t have known. Charlie thought of this a while and said mom we can still play with Lily by taking our cards she wouldn’t know the answers to or make up cards for her allowing everyone to play and not leaving anyone out which might hurt someone’s feelings.

If you’re homeschooling your children, there are lots of questions they can use in their History Class or for Creative Writing. With everything fitting into the case you can take this game with you which would be perfect for a Homeschool Field Trip to the park when meeting friends for school lessons.

I love how 5 Second Relay brought us all closer together and how much fun we had and at times we were rolling on the floors laughing at Charlie. Charlie and David let me know this is a must have game to play each week during our #FamilyGameNight but I had to remind them they can’t use the phone or computers to look up answers which at times I needed to do as well.

Don’t forget Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I’ve asked David and Charlie for 5 Second Rule® Disney Edition and for Lily’s Birthday and to add to our Homeschool Library I would like to have them purchase 5 Second Rule® Jr. Before you ask no, Lily cannot take this game home its to play at my house that way when Elijah or Payton visit we have a new game to play as well. Would you like to join us?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
