Welcome to our series featuring Food Holidays: November 15th, 2022. Today is National Fast Food Day. I’ve been having a blah day today nd if I hadn’t promised Charlie Ghoulish this morning you can bet your bottom dollar I would have asked David to pick up dinner.

It’s National Fast Food Day. Do you know what what that means? An easy dinnertime. Whether you prefer Hamburgers or Tacos,fast food options have come to encompass nearly any American food your belly can crave. Can you believe there is studies showing fast food can be even healthier than other restaurants. Fast food adds an average of 10 milligrams of cholesterol compared to 58 and 297 milligrams of sodium compared to 412.

NATIONAL FAST FOOD DAY ACTIVITIES

  1. Today is the day to eat out. Don’t forget the extra drink refills.
  2. Set the dining room table like it’s Thanksgiving minus the 5 a.m. alarm to get that Turkey in the oven and enjoy your favorite fast food and don’t forget to invite friends or family for dinner.
  3. Today is the day to try a fast food you don’t usually get. If you always stop for Hamburger then pick up Chinese Food.

  1. Today is the day to skip all that meal prep for a night. Use the time you save to linger over dinner. Whether you dine-in or take-out, value those extra minutes with those closest to you.
  2. There are more than 50,000 fast food chains in the United States. From the largest which is Subway to the small, regional and City-specific restaurants, fast food chains offer unparalleled variety.
  3. We all know fast food gets a bad rap, but plenty of healthy options exist. If you want to skip carbs? Order a Salad. Avoiding fried foods? Order your entrée grilled and pass on French Fries.
