BRANSON, Mo. – (October 27, 2025) – Science-loving families and individuals will not want to miss celebrating National STEM Day at WonderWorks Branson on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The day will be full of fun educational activities, with something of interest for everyone. Catch special experiments and demonstrations at select times throughout the day, which are included with a standard admission ticket. This is an excellent time for everyone to learn science in an interactive and memorable way.

“Take your weekend to the next level at WonderWorks’ STEM Day celebration! We’re breaking out our lab coats and leading several exciting science experiments throughout the day,” said Tim Church, education sales manager at WonderWorks Branson.

“Full STEAM Ahead” is the motto of National STEM Day at WonderWorks Branson. STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) can be found all around us, so this special day will put these important topics in the spotlight. The mission of WonderWorks is to spread a love of learning while providing fun opportunities to do it, each one perfect for inquisitive minds of all ages. While the upside-down laboratory is a year-round provider of “edu-tainment,” the special National STEM Day celebration will take things to the next level, featuring exciting interactive science experiments that will give guests hands-on, close-up looks at all the wonders of STEM/STEAM.

All day long, guests can create dancing art in the party room and catch special experiment sessions, including:

11:00 am – Miniature Bed of Nails

12:30 pm – The Blow-Up Puffer Fish

2:00 pm – The Mirage Maker Hand Illusion

3:30 pm – A New Paper Airplane Lab

The experiment sessions will provide an up-close look at some of the various ways that science plays a role in the world around us. Visitors will learn about topics, such as the principles of pressure, chemical reactions, optical illusions, aerodynamics, and more.

National STEM Day is also an excellent time for young minds to explore careers in STEM fields, as WonderWorks Branson unveils a newly revised “I THINK, Therefore I STEM” exhibit. The new exhibit will feature exciting facts and engaging interactive elements to help guests learn about careers in the world of aviation. Aspiring pilots will be inspired by the opportunities this career field holds and by knowing that the sky is not the limit!

Held yearly, National STEM Day is dedicated to promoting more interest in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It also often focuses on STEAM, which includes the arts as a core tenant. WonderWorks Branson offers a youth art gallery, celebrating the important role that the arts play in the community. They are proud to offer many STEM programs throughout the year.

“Hands-on learning is our specialty here at WonderWorks, so we love hosting special events that take guests’ experience to the next level!” said Brenda Dent, general manager at WonderWorks Branson. “Plan your family’s adventure soon.”

The OZART Contest is now also accepting submissions for the 2025/2026 exhibition. The annual youth art contest invites students from Missouri and Arkansas to submit their artistic masterpieces for the chance to have them displayed in the Wonder Art Gallery. Now is also the time for local teachers to prepare their student nominations for the upcoming WonderKids program, which focuses on student achievement in and around the classroom. Submissions for the WonderKids program open on November 8, 2025.
