Homeschool Resource: SELENA

Charlie and I would like to share a Homeschool Resource REMEMBERING SELENA MAGAZINE 2023 CELEBRATING THE SMALL TOWN GIRL A360 MEDIA. I’ve been obsessed with Selena from the year she died even though I’ve never really listened to her music I’ve watched her movie a thousand times. With Charlie studying Selena we will have the opportunity to listen to her songs. Would you like to join us?

Even as a child, Selena Quintanilla was determined to join her “family business”—which was making music. Her journey led her to a stratosphere of stardom reserved for the most beloved icons, with four straight No. 1 singles, a Grammy Award, and 11 trophies for female vocalist of the year at the Tejano Music Awards.

The fact that Selena’s life ended in tragedy, and far too soon, has never diminished her relevance. Today, her Mirador de la Flor monument in Corpus Christi is visited by people of all ages from around the world and her music still brightens the hearts of millions. This is the story of Selena—a legend and pioneer who will never be forgotten.
