Welcome to Homeschooling with Board Games: Funko Back to The Future – Back in Time Board Game. I can’t wait to sit down with Charlie and watch all three movies while we play Back To The Future. Would you like to join us?

At the end of your week which for most people is Friday invite your friends and family over. While you host a Back to the Future Movie Night. For my family this means a Trip to Walmart to pick up Back to the Future 1985, Back to the Future Part II (4K UHD) 1989, Back to the Future Part III 1990.

If your lucky enough you might be able to purchase all the movies in the series in one package called Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Trilogy. Which is what were looking for.

Reading Class:

Ask the individuals wanting to play the Game ask them to sit down at the Game Table. Then read the instructions to the players. Once you finish reading the instructions ask the players questions to make sure they understand what is going to happen. Then have them ask you questions to make sure you understand what is going to happen and why.

In your Reading Journal make notes that you will want to look back on throughout the year. Include who played the Game. Who won and if they were a good winner or not. As well as who lost and how they handled losing.

Spelling:

Write the Spelling Words inside your Spelling Journal. Include a definition for each word.

Art Class: Research the DeLorean and create a piece of Art showcasing the DeLorean and your dream car. Write a description of what makes your car special. Don’t forget give your car a name and a distinctive paint job.

In your Art Journal write down the name of your car and what made it special.

Include ways its the same as the DeLorean and also what makes the cars different.

Math Class:

How many pieces of equipment is in this Board Game? Now use those pieces and create 5 Math problems.

Drama: Act out your favorite scene in the movies for your parents and explain why you chose that scene.

Write your answer inside your Drama Journal.

Music Class:

Research and see if there is a soundtrack for any of the Back to the Future Movies. If so listen to one of the songs and learn one of the songs to perform in front of your parents.

Write the song inside your Music Journal and include why you chose that song.

Cooking Class:

Write up a menu of foods you think they would have eaten back in the future, If you can create one dish from your menu.

Also create cookies in the shapes of things you saw in the movie.

Write the Cookie Recipe inside your Cooking Journal which will be turned into a Cookbook at the end of the year.
