#HomeschoolWithBoardGames: Walk the Dogs

I would like to introduce you to Simply Fun Games. You will find Simply Fun Games inside #HomeschoolWithBoardGames: Walk the Dogs. Charlie and I haven’t had the opportunity to sit down and play Walk the Dogs yet, but I can’t wait until we can.

In the meantime I wanted to share a description of Walk the Dogs:

Walk the Dogs

63 dogs in this game…63! Kids love the challenge of matching and collecting as many pups as possible without getting caught by the dog catcher. In the process, they are learning math skills such as counting, multiplication and predicting. This award-winning game has become a multi-year best seller. This game is perfect for 2-5 players, ages 8 and up.$34

When Charlie and I study Pets or Dogs Walk the Dogs will be the perfect Game to play. Or we can use Walk the Dogs instead of doing our usual math Homework.

Find a book about Dogs and read this book each night for 30 minutes. In your reading journal write out 5 facts you learned from the book.

Charlie will be reading Hero:

Hero

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Max: Best Friend. Hero. Marine., Jennifer Li Shotz, comes a brand-new heroic dog to love! Hero, a retired search-and-rescue dog, is not prepared for a stray puppy to come into his life.

But when he and twelve-year-old Ben find Scout injured and afraid, the new addition leads them down an unexpected and dangerous path. When Scout goes missing, it’s up to Hero to use his search-and-rescue skills to find Scout and bring him home. Get ready for a canine adventure full of danger, loyalty, and the unbreakable bond between a boy and his best friend.

Don’t forget to take time this week to spend time together as a Family watching a movie about a Dog. Charlie has said he would like to watch Hotel for Dogs.

I picked out Beethoven. David has asked to watch Hachi: A Dog’s Tale. Before you say I don’t have a book or movie with Dogs in it. Then it’s time to take a Field Trip to the Library. Or to a local bookstore like Half Price Books.

Don’t forget to purchase a subscription to Netflix to use in school. Charlie and I are always watching movies from here in our Classroom. As well as using Cooking Shows for our Cooking Class.

If your Homeschooling or host Family Game Night then you will always be looking for new Board Games to purchase. I would like to let you know you can own your own Simply Fun Company check out the details here:

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
