#HomeschoolWithBoardGames: The BFG Playing Cards

This week for our #HomeschoolWithBoardGames: The BFG Playing Cards is what Charlie has chosen for us to play. As well as watching the Movie BFG which is one of mine and Charlie’s favorite movies. Would you like to join us for Movie and Game night this weekend?

Roald Dahl and Bfg fans, have we got a great deck of playing cards for you. This officially licensed deck of cards includes multiple images and will surely delight fans and players alike. Cards have a linen Type finish on them and measure 2.5 “x 3.5”.

Reading Class:

Write the names of your Families favorite Card Games on a piece of paper. Drop the slips of paper into a bowl and shake them up. Then let one of the players pick a slip of paper. That is the first Game you will play. Look the instructions to the Game up online and read the instructions to the players. Then ask them questions to make sure they understand what is going to happen. Then let them ask you questions to make sure you understand what is going to happen and why.

Do this for each Card Game you play this evening.

Write down notes inside your Reading Journal and include notes of who played the Game. Who won and who lost. Were they good winners and losers?
