It’s Raining Cats and Dogs here!!

I woke up to Hail and Rain this morning. As I listen to the Weather on TV, it is going to rain most of the day. Then it will slow down tomorrow but resume raining through the weekend. I might as well plan on living inside because our yard becomes a “MUD PUDDLE.” I can’t get outside as I sink or fall into the mud piles in our yard.

Here in my hometown of Haltom City, it is raining cats and dogs and if you go outside, I think you should become a duck with webbed feet so you can walk safely and not drown. Charlie says if I was a Duck I wouldn’t slip and fall. Although I’, not sure, a Duck would even want to be out in this weather.

I will tell you it’s going to be a fun couple days as the dogs will be stuck inside and we have four dogs and six puppies. Along with Charlie and my dad. Let me tell you once this weekend is over, I’m going to need a stiff drink.

It must be 5′ O’clock somewhere and if so, I’m going to need Tequila & Orange Juice but if you don’t have Orange Juice a Shot will work just fine. I hope David knows he is taking me out to dinner on Friday. I just dread having to take everyone with us.

Once again it is ok as one day my dad may not be here, and ‘m just grateful my dad has come to stay with us for a couple of weeks. Hopefully, my sister will take my dad some next week so we can get a break. If not, I just ask God for strength.

As we get ready to go into the weekend the 1st week is gone, and I have two more weeks with my dad. Pray for Strength for my family and me and for nothing to upset my dad and for him to decide to go back home.

In Jesus name, I thank you for this time with my dad and that he will be here a long, long time as he turns 76. I will talk to you soon and I wish you a Blessed day. If there is anything I can do for you or pray for just let me know.

Thank, you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
