Its hard to remember a time when there weren’t Lego’s all over my house. That includes when Suzzane and also my nephew were small you would see Legos everywhere.

Now, with Charlie turning 14 you would think finding Legos all over the house wouldn’t be the case although that isn’t true because Charlie and I use Lego’s in Homeschool.

I even have a container of Lego’s for my nieces and nephew to play with when they come over. Or Charlie’s friends when they spend the night they get out the Lego’s. when they get tired of being outside on on the Play Station.

As soon as I heard about Lego with Dad I knew the book would be the perfect Father’s Day Gift for my David and Charlie. Or for my nephew David M. Or my son in law Toby to use with my grandson Elijah.

I asked Charlie to come sit with me and we thumbed through Lego with Dad before wrapping the book up for David. Let me tell you it was hard getting Charlie to let me wrap Lego with Dad up because Charlie wanted to build a couple projects he found inside the book.

I was afraid with Lego with Dad that I would have to purchase new sets of Lego’s but that isn’t the case. If you have Lego’s in your home then you use those saving us money and time from shopping.

With Charlie having Dyslexia and ADHD focusing is hard and Charlie ends up getting distracted. Which is I wasn’t sure Charlie would be able to read Lego with Dad to David.

While we looked through the book I had Charlie read certain parts of the book and Charlie didn’t have any trouble at all. Then Charlie and I picked out a project he wanted to do with his dad. I let Charlie would read the steps for our Homeschool Reading Class then we made sure we had all the Legos we would need.

Otherwise Charlie and I would have purchased a set or two of Legos for David for Fathers Day. Charlie did let me know that he and David will need new sets because they are going to want to keep the projects they made to decorate the Man Cave with.

While David was at work this morning Charlie and I gathered the supplies we needed for one of the projects. Then I sat and let Charlie build the project on his own.

Seeing Charlie creating his Lego project without getting bored or distracted was a Godsend for me and this showed me Lego with Dad is the perfect Gift for David and Charlie.

After David receives Lego with Dad for Fathers Day and were not using the book you will find it either in our Art Cubicle or our Homeschool Library for Charlie to use during Free Time.
