My Little Prayer Published By: David Archuleta

I would like to invite you to check out our latest edition to our Christmas Gift Guide: Books for Children: My Little Prayer published by David Archuleta in exchange for a spot in the Guide.

I’ve been thinking of adding a Bible Study Class to our Homeschool Lessons in the New Year and after receiving a copy of  My Little Prayer  I know the Lord is telling me to go ahead and add the new class. During the class I will have Charlie call my niece and nephew to read the book to them.

Then we can discuss the Prayer inside the book and how the Prayer made us feel. Then they can discuss if they think what the Poem said is true or not. I can also see them drawing pictures to make the story last longer. As well as sharing the book with there friends and family.

If you like to give Gifts that give back them you will want to purchase a copy of  My Little Prayer  for the children on your Gift Giving List because for each book purchased they give a book to a child in need which I know my grandmother wanted me to know about because it’s called The Bushel & Peck Book For Book Program.

As a child my granny would always say I love you a Hug and a Peek and a Bushel around the neck which is on a sign in my home and on my Coffee Cup my sister and I have, Which is telling me I need to share both  My Little Prayer and the book program with my sister because my grandmother is also wanting her to purchase a book so a child in need would get one. Would you help us and purchase a book as well?

About:

In his first ever children’s book, singer David Archuleta conveys the profound love to be found in our personal relationships with God.

“David was truly inspired in writing this book. I know it will reassure every child that God is there waiting to hear from us. Thank you, David, for following through on your inspiration.” ―Marie Osmond

Based on the lyrics of David’s popular and moving song, My Little Prayer tells the story of a young boy who discovers that what God wants for him is even better than what he wanted for himself. Learn to trust, learn faith, and most of all, learn to pray in this beautifully woven tale of art, music, and faith.

Full text:

Heavenly Father, I am grateful for your eternal presence.

I am learning to be patient and that you are really there.

Sometimes I am afraid, and I know that’s lacking faith.

But I’m beginning to understand that for me you have a plan.

Heavenly Father, I am grateful for you sending your Son.

To die so that I live and for never giving up.

I’m learning everyday that I won’t always have my way.

But I’m beginning to understand that for me you have a plan.

Heavenly Father, I am grateful for you hearing my prayer.

I am learning to be patient and that you are really there.

There are answers I’m receiving; no, they’re not always immediate.

Sometimes I have felt defeated. That’s when I kneel down in prayer.

You show me you hear my prayer.

I’m amazed by how you care, ’cause you hear . . . my little prayer.
