Welcome to National Food Holidays March 65th, 2021 National Nougart & Spinach Day. If Popeye were a real person and alive today I know he would be one happy Camper.
Do you eat Spinach? If so is the Spinach frozen, canned (Popeye Spinach) or Fresh which can be used in place of Lettuce in Salads? David and I like Canned Spinach.
I have had it with Vinegar which is the way my dad preferred to eat Spinach and without Vinegar the way my mom preferred. But I like it with Vinegar I just don’t like the tree like pieces I find in Canned Spinach.
Additional Holiday National Nougat Day. Now, before you ask me what is Nougat I do not know. Although, I believe if I am not wrong its inside Candy Bars.
After having Charlie look up Nougat we found out Nougat is commonly found in ; Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Snickers, Polar, etc. Which I haven’t heard of Polar. Have you?
Although, Charlie, David and I love all the other Candy Bars mentioned mine and my moms favorite was 3 Musketeers and David’s is Milky Way while Charlie prefers Snickers.
Facts:
Today’s nougat is a mixture of sucrose and corn syrup with a whipping agent to create its fluffy texture.
