I wanted to share a new snack my family received which is Old Trapper Beef Jerky in exchange for this review.
The first product I want to share with you is Peppered Beef Jerky in the single serving bag. I like how it comes in small pieces which allows you to eat a few pieces at a time. The only problem for me was it had to much Pepper on the Beef Jerky but that didn’t bother David or my brother at all.
They thought the Jerky might be too tough with their teeth to eat but it wasn’t. Charlie also tried a piece of the Peppered Jerky, and he liked the taste of Pepper a lot which for a lot of people might be overwhelming.
Old Trapper Peppered Beef Jerky is the perfect snack for me while on my diet because Old Trapper If you have trouble with Spices you might not want to try this Peppered Beef Jerky because it adds a bold kick to your snacking experience.
Each tender strip of lean beef is generously coated with cracked black peppercorns you can actually see, then slow smoked over natural wood for authentic flavor. The four-ounce resealable bag ensures you’ll have plenty of this savory, spicy jerky whenever your taste buds crave something with a little heat.
About
My new quarter-pound big bag is challenging the industry. In an era where other jerky makers are reducing their package size, I’m flipping the script by giving you MORE. Plus, by offering convenient quarter-pound sizing, I’ve made the math easy. Two bags = ½ pound. Four bags = one pound. Eight bags = two pounds. 16 bags = four pounds. So, order accordingly!
Single bags are available at partner retail stores, but you can shop the 8 pack case online.
I also received Peppered Double Eagle Beef Jerky | Real Wood Smoked which contains 80 pieces of Jerky. TI wanted to let you know this Jerky is unlike anything I’ve ever seen because it is round like the Pepperoni that goes on Pizza.
It is also covered in Black Pepper and was a tad but spicy but not as bad at Peppered Beef Jerky. David and Charlie liked this a lot because they can add Cheese to it and make a Round-Up. Or add it to Tortilla’s for a quick snack.
I also wouldn’t be able to eat much of Peppered Double Eagle Beef Jerky because of the Pepper, but I liked knowing its a soft Beef Jerky and that you can cut it in half to have double the amount of Jerky in the bag. This is the perfect snack to take on the go. I can see a lot of guys purchasing it during Hunting Season which we don’t do.
About
Pepper may not seem so exotic today, but there was a time when kings raised armies to fight for control of valuable spice resources. So when you eat your lean, slow-smoked, Peppered Double Eagle Beef Jerky, remind yourself that powerful men once bled to own what you now do. Don’t take that for granted.
Available at partner retail stores.
Family Owned
The Old Trapper story began in 1969 when the first batches of handcrafted beef jerky were sold from a small country store in rural Oregon. Today, Old Trapper is still family-owned and one of the leading producers of smoked meat snacks in the country. We made the leap from local favorite to national leader because our family’s heritage is a part of every bag we sell—our best, from our family to yours, for over 55 years
