Fall is in the Air and for a lot of people that means All-Things Pumpkin especially Granny Sherry. Sherry is an avid reader just like I am. I can’t wait to share Pumpkin Spice and Not So Nice by Becky Monson with Granny Sherry once I finish reading the book.
I can see Pumpkin Spice and Not So Nice inside our 2025 Halloween Gift Guide as well as 2025 Thanksgiving Gift Guide and even our 2025 Christmas Gift Guide because Pumpkin Spice and Not So Nice would be the perfect story to read year round.
The cover of the book is so cute with the lady sitting in the wheelbarrow holding a Pumkin which makes me want to get my Wheelbarrow out and to run to the store for Pumpkins to decorate with. But there is no, where here for my wheelbarrow. Would you like it?
Pumpkin Spice and Not So Nice is a Romance aka a Rom0-Com which is one of my favorite genres of books. What about you? I love the main character who can be sassy at times just like me. The supporting characters were fun to learn about as well.
The whole book was a fun read from page one to the end of the story, and it all makes sense and is well paced. Once I began reading the book I didn’t want to put it down because the love interest is a good blend of mysterious and likeable which will keep you on the edge of your seat.
About:
If I were ever to write a memoir, it would be titled, Jenna Peterson’s Guide to Dating Emotionally Unavailable Men. I’m like a professional at it. I’m so good, I can take any dysfunctional man and turn him into Prince Charming, just in time for him to dump me and then go on to marry the next woman he dates. I’m about ready to give up on loving real men and focus on lusting over fictional men in the Turkish dramas I can’t stop devouring.
But then . . . I find a mysterious fifty-dollar bill with a handwritten note on it that was donated to my family’s pumpkin patch by accident. And wouldn’t you know it, the mystery man it belongs to is emotionally unavailable, albeit freakishly attractive.
I keep telling myself to walk away, but there’s something about Aidan St. Claire that makes me want to unravel all his secrets. All I know is he sure can heat up the cozy fall nights. I can’t help but think that maybe this time I’ll get to keep Prince Charming for myself.
Meet the Author: Becky Monson

Becky Monson is a mother of three and a wife to one but would ditch them all for Henry Cavill. She used to write at night but now she’s too dang tired, so she fits in writing between driving kids around to activities and running a household.
With a talent for procrastination, Becky finds if she doesn’t watch herself, she can waste an entire afternoon binge-watching Netflix. She’s a USA Today bestseller and an award-winning* author, and when she does actually get off Netflix to write, she uses humor and true-life experiences to bring her characters to life.
Becky wishes she had a British accent and a magic spell to do her laundry. She has been trying to give up Diet Coke for the past ten years but has failed miserably.
