I would like to share a new children’s book with you Robby the Dyslexic Taxi and the Airport Adventure by Lynn and Jonathan Greenberg. I received a physical copy of the book in exchange for this review.

I choose to read Robby the Dyslexic Taxi And the Airport Adventure because I wanted Charlie to see what others who have Dyslexia go through. In case you didn’t know Charlie was diagnosed as mildly Dyslexic in school. Charlie has worked so hard and his reading has improved 110% percent that I don’t believe he is dyslexic any more.

Then you look at David and you know he is dyslexic and a adult who can’t read or write. Like Robby David memorizes things so he doesn’t have to read. Not only that David works for the Airport and that is where Robby was going which would make Charlie want to know what was happening in the book.

Throughout the book Charlie didn’t have any trouble at all reading the story which is a GOD send for me. I picked up tips on how to help Charlie and David overcome there reading problems. As we finished the book Charlie let me know both children and adults alike would enjoy Robby the Dyslexic Taxi and the Airport Adventure, Children like adults can and will learn from the story. If you know someone who has been diagnosed with Dyslexia, please share this book with them.

In our Art Class this week Charlie plans on drawing Robby in other adventures and adding all of his friends including the dispatcher and his passenger. If you would like to read Charlie’s stories leave me a comment below. Or if you would like to join us in our Homeschool Art Class leave me a comment. Then in our Homeschool Drama Class we can act out Robby the Dyslexic Taxi and the Airport Adventure. Would you like to help us act out the story?

About the Author: Lynn Greenberg

Lynn Greenberg is the happiest wife, mom, and grandma. A very retired attorney who loves to cook, exercise, and read, she has seen how positivity with feelings and differences can allow children to grow into happy productive adults and wanted to bring that energy to children’s stories.

Jonathan Greenberg: Author and Illustrator

Born with dyslexia, Jonathan could not read and write like many other children his age. So instead of acting out, Jonathan used his struggle as a catalyst for creativity by expressing his ideas through art. Having overcome his learning impediment, Jonathan has fallen in love with reading. Robby the Dyslexic Taxi and the Aiport Adventure exemplify Jonathan’s passion for writing and illustration. He and his mother and writing partner, Lynn, are already thinking of other stories that complement this book.
