Scooby-Do Fright At The Fun Park

Everyone knows that the toy store Toy’s R Us is closing so I talked David into going to check out there sales with me. Once there Charlie and I decided we would go shopping each week to see what was on sale.

I could purchase Gifts for Christmas or Charlie’s Birthday. Or I might be able to find resources we could use in our Homeschool classes. Two of the items I knew I wanted to look through while there were Board Games and children’s books.

Last week while I was there I was looking for a certain Board Game I wanted to get for our classroom although they didn’t have that game. I went ahead and looked though and I found Scooby-Do Fright At The Fun Park Games.

I knew I should purchase this new Board Game because Charlie and David both love watching Scooby-Doo on tv. I hadn’t ever seen a Board Game featuring Scooby-Doo. I knew this new game would make a nice addition to our Family Game Nights as well as our Homeschool classroom.

I showed this new game to both Charlie and David and they asked if we could purchase the game. Then they asked me if I was going to purchase it if the game would be for Christmas or if we could play this game once we got home.

I let Charlie and David know I had planned on purchasing the game and we could play while watching a Scooby-Doo video. I let the guys know we could pick up Scooby-Doo snacks I had seen at the grocery store to serve during our movie night.

SCOOBY-DOO's Fright at the Fun Park Game Box

Charlie and David were so excited they didn’t want to finish shopping they just wanted to get home so we could fix our snacks, turn on the movie and sit down to play Scooby-Do Fright At The Fun Park .

As we drove into our Driveway Charlie’s friends were waiting for him to play.  Charlie told his friends no, he was going to play a Board Game and watch a video with David and me.

They asked if they could come in and play. Charlie said no, it was Family Time. Which surprised me and made me proud to know my son wanted to spend time with David and me.

Charlie set the Board Game up while David started the movie.I gathered our snacks and beverages so we wouldn’t have to get up during the movie.

Once we started to play I could tell both Charlie and David were having a lot of fun. They were laughing and just getting along it was the perfect Family Game Night.

Once we finished playing and Charlie asked to play again and so did David. I knew this would be the perfect Game for our family and that it would be a game we would again and again and I am so happy to say I was right.

Charlie let me know the game reminded him of Clue and on the night we play this game that we should also get out Clue Game  make it a true Family Game Night.

Once David heard Charlie he agreed with him. Now, I would like to invite you to  join us next week for our Family Game Night. If you know  fun snacks we can serve leave us a comment as to where we can find the recipes at.
