“Secret Origin of the Batwheels”

Don’t protect Gotham for awards…. Things aren’t always what they seem. Charlie loved the saying “Dunk the Donut” which is all I’ve heard. Think problems through which is what Batman said has helped Charlie in school. Power, Speed one of a kind Bat technology, You can be a hero just by being yourself Girls just wanna have fun

This is a review for “Secret Origin of the Batwheels” that we watched it as a family.

BATMAN has followed me from my childhood to my daughters and my nephews. Charlie, my son, is a big fan and now my niece and nephew can’t get enough of Batman either. Growing up my nephew was always Batman and Suzzane was Robin. While I always went for the bad guys. Penguin was my favorite with Joker a close second. Did you watch Batman? Did you have a favorite character if so who was it and why?

Charlie was playing Basketball at his grandmother’s and David was at work I sat down to watch “Secret Origin of the Batwheels” which is only 30 minutes. Halfway through the show I knew I needed to stop it and wait for Charlie to get home because he would like seeing all the characters working together.

Throughout the day I would find myself humming and singing the song from the show which I didn’t even know I was doing. Charlie and David got home that evening and I asked them if they knew Batman day was the 17th. Both of them said no, and they would like to watch Batman movies and Charlie even asked if he could dress up like Batman for his Homeschool Drama Class.

Once dinner was over Charlie was going back upstairs I turned on “Secret Origin of the Batwheels” to watch the whole show. Before I knew what was happening David and Charlie were sitting next to me glued to the Computer Screen. It was fun seeing Charlie watch the movie and ask questions and tell me he couldn’t wait to watch more of the show.

David let me know he thought every child and adult would enjoy “Secret Origin of the Batwheels” and would want to watch the show over and over. Which I agreed with. Charlie let me know he loved how they all got along and how the music kept the show moving along.

As you watch the show watch for the following:

Don’t protect Gotham for awards…. What does this mean?

Things aren’t always what they seem. Do you agree?

Charlie loved the saying “Dunk the Donut” which is all I’ve heard from Charlie this week. Do you have a favorite saying you can’t say enough?

Think problems through. Do you do this. Charlie has kept telling me this is what Batman said which has helped Charlie in school.

Power, Speed one of a kind Bat technology. Charlie want’s to know if you have something like this in your life?

You can be a hero just by being yourself. Do you agree with this?

Don’t be surprised to see a girl in the show which reminds us Girls just wanna have fun or at least I do. How about you?

Batwheels, DC’s first-ever Batman preschool series, is racing toward launch bringing us “Secret Origin of the Batwheels” for the half-hour special premiering on Batman Day, Sept. 17th on Cartoonito on HBO Max.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the series offers young viewers a high-speed, vibrant CGI-animated iteration of the Caped Crusader, following a group of young sentient super-powered vehicles as they defend Gotham City alongside Batman, Robin, and Batgirl. The half-hour special will tell the backstory of how the Batwheels team came to be before the series officially launches later this fall on Cartoonito on Cartoon Network and Cartoonito on HBO Max.

The all-star voice cast includes Ethan Hawke (as Batman), Jacob Bertrand (as Bam the Batmobile), Gina Rodriguez (as Catwoman) and Xolo Maridueña (as Snowy the Snowcrawler), among others.

When Batman, Robin, and Batgirl are captured, the Batcomputer brings the Bat-Vehicles to life. The newly-minted Batwheels must defend the Batcave and face off with the Legion of Zoom – all without Batman’s help!

Batwheels series description

(Series premieres later this fall on Cartoonito on Cartoon Network and Cartoonito on HBO Max)

They are a team of incredible crimefighters who have banded together to oppose evil, combat crime and clean up the streets of Gotham City.  They are…okay, they’re NOT Batman and Robin.  They’re the Batwheels – an awesome group of sentient super-powered crime-fighting vehicles defending Gotham City alongside Batman, Robin and Batgirl.

Having just been created by the Batcomputer, our heroes are essentially kids with little to no life experience.  Led by Bam (The Batmobile), the Batwheels – Bibi (The Batgirl Cycle), Redbird (Robin’s Sports Car), (Batwing the Batwing Jet Plane), and Buff (The Bat Truck) – must navigate the growing pains of being a newly formed super team as well as the growing pains that come with just being a kid.  This relatable and aspirational series will follow the journey of this dynamic team as they thrill and entertain with their heroic adventures as well as demonstrate to kids the value of self-confidence, friendship and teamwork.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
