I wanted to share a fantastic opportunity for young dancers in NYC this summer—Tap Camp at Tap Dance Central!
Designed for kids ages 7-12, Tap Camp is a fun and immersive way for children to explore the art of tap dance, whether they’re total beginners or have some experience. Led by expert instructors, campers will:
- Take two daily tap classes, building technique and learning a performance piece
- Enjoy tap dance arts & crafts, games, and trivia
- Discover tap dance history through videos and picture books
- Have lunch at Christopher St. Pier (or watch tap movies on rainy days!)
- Go on a special field trip (TBA!)
- Perform in a final-day showcase for family and friends
