The kindness of Texans

The kindness of Texans Amazes me. I was on Facebook reading about the shootings in Dallas. and I found local businesses going out of their way to support our Local Police Departments.

I wanted to let others know about these businesses and their kindness so we can assist the companies because in helping them with the cause because I would like to help the businesses keep up their excellent work.

The first company I would like to share with you is Enchilada Ole a restaurant located in Fort Worth, Texas. They have asked us to share the following post:

Please share:  Any officer from any City eats free at Enchiladas Ole’ today and tomorrow!

I hadn’t heard of Enchilada Ole before yesterday. But you can bet my family will be eating at Enchilada Ole this week. Then I will be sharing Enchilada Ole with everyone I know.

I would like to ask if you would share Enchilada Ole with everyone you know. Not only for the reason above but because it’s a Local Woman Owned Business.

901 N Sylvania Ave

 Grand Prairie Farmers Market

Here’s the message they posted on their Facebook pages:

We have free food this morning for any of the GP police officers around downtown today!

Thanks to a couple of our Grand vendors, Berkshire Farms Pork and Texas Chef Food Service for stepping up to show some love to the blue! We are here until 1 pm. Thanks for all you do for us!

Grand Prairie Farmers Market isn’t a place I’ve been to before. Although I plan on visiting Grand Prairie Farmers Market because I love finding fresh vegetables to cook for my family.

My family would like to personally thank Grand Prairie Farmers Market for what they did for our officers.

Brighten Boxesis a new Business I found by being on Facebook after checking out their page and seeing what they are doing for the Police Department. Charlie and I will be helping them out and if you would like to help out as well ask us how. We need items for theBrighten Boxes.

There’s an excellent community of moms in Denton taking items to the Dallas PD today… Brighten Boxes is sending boxes and a tray of Brighten cookies with them

Which is a beautiful thing to watch the community come together…their hearts are gold….

  • Brighten Team to people who would be blessed to receive a Brighten Box…through YOU! If you know someone going through:
    *Tragedy
    *Loss
    *Disease
*Disability and would be blessed by a little “Sunshine” please leave a message on the board, pm or text Britt and we will be in touch!

    What are Brighten Boxes?
Brighten Boxes are created out of the desire to minister to friends of ours who were in a terrible season but were too far for us to visit. We are Christians who wholeheartedly believe and know that we can LOVE others well because we are LOVED SO WELL by the God who created us.
We get the info (person or family) and shop for specific gifts for them. A handwritten note is placed inside. We pray for them along the way. The names get added to our wall for continued prayer too. it’s a journey were blessed to be called also!
