🎬 Popcorn & Memories: The Return of Movie Days

Entertainment Movies 🎬 Popcorn & Memories: The Return of Movie Days

Movie and Popcorn has always ben a hug factor in my home. I used to take my children to the Dollar Movies for all day movie festivals. Now, David and I do these movie festivals as date nites and something’s Charlie and his friends come with us. Or my sister or one of our friends.

David is off this afternoon and today is our Movie Marathon Day. From 10am until9pm tonight we will be at the movies. I plan on seeing 5 movies today. The sad part of today is these are all movies I want to see. Nothing David has chosen to see but he can choose next week.

Being a lover of movies, we even used them when Charlie was homeschooling. I thought you might use movies as well. I wanted to share a new series with you 🎬 Popcorn & Memories: The Return of Movie Days

There was a time when movie days were just part of life. I’ve missed those times we would go early, stay all day, and make an experience out of it. That is why I’ve decided to bring movie days back for David and I. Would you want to join us at the movies today?

Dollar theaters.
Shared meals.
Sneaking in snacks.
Walking back in for one more movie.

As a child if my mom didn’t go into the movies with us, she still had her own tradition. We’d stop at the old Icisis Theater in the Stockyards just to get her a box of popcorn from the concession stand window. That was her movie day. And honestly, I think that’s where this all started.

Movies were never just about the screen. They were about the people you went with, the routines, the memories, and the little moments you didn’t realize would stay with you forever.

So, I’m bringing movie days back. 🍿 Welcome to Popcorn & Memories — a new series about movies, nostalgia, snacks, theaters, family memories, and the stories tied to all of them. And yes… there will absolutely be popcorn involved.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
