The Inca Trail and Machu

This morning I wanted to share Homeschooling Resources with you for Social Sciences. I can’t wait to share The Inca Trail and Machu with Charlie. If you have used them in the past what did you think of them and why?

The Inca Trail and Machu
Age Range: 9-18 (Grades 4-12, with parental supervision) Through stunning photographs and a descriptive narrative you’ll experience the splendor of this remarkable place without “the risks of acrophobia, flies, amoebic dysentery, and the prerequisite of a 2,000 meter climb.”

Read the details of the Inca Trail as you follow it all the way up. The view is positively breathtaking! Once at the top, you are sure to gain a fresh appreciation for the intricacies of the lost Inca civilization. Be sure to click on every small picture to see a magnified version of the scenery.

Join us again tomorrow as we will feature a virtual tour of the “Lost City of the Incas.”

To return to the home page at any given time, select the Ancient Greece image on the left hand menu. Teachers will especially want to check out the “Staff Room” link which will open a new window. Here is where visitors will find chapter overviews and links to chapter resources with background information about the topic, discussion ideas, and worksheets that can be printed from your browser.

This website is easy to navigate and is presented in a user-friendly and interesting manner that encourages learners to explore and learn.

Thank you,
