I would like to share a new children’s book Charlie and I will be using in our Homeschool Science Class. The Sun and the Planets: A 3-D Solar System with Pop-Ups! by Patricia Geis which I received a physical copy of the book in exchange for this review.

Charlie couldn’t wait to open up The Sun and the Planets: A 3-D Solar System with Pop-Ups! to read but before we did Charlie and I had fun discussing the cover of the book which is a nice dark blue. With light blue letters and a Astronaut on the cover of the book. I wish you could see the stars and planets on the cover of the book.

For children wanting to learn there numbers if you look inside the cover you will see 1 to 10 written out so they can count and practice there numbers.

Charlie found words he wasn’t sure of like Karman Line which we can research and add to our Spelling List. Charlie and I liked finding out the book is interactive which makes learning much more fun and will keep children entertained while the story is being read to them.

Throughout the book you will find all kinds of facts which students can use when studying the Sun and Planets and then for a Homeschool Field Trip they could visit a Science Museum which Charlie and I plan on doing. Would you like to go with us on our journey?

When reading the book make sure you have a flashlight so you can see the Earth and Moon. There was a section on a Eclipse which Charlie and I will be studying this year as I believe there will be one in 2024. The book even touches on Astronomy which Charlie has been wanting to study.

if you have children or know adults who enjoy Science then you should share The Sun and the Planets: A 3-D Solar System with Pop-Ups! with them. If your children are studying Science this would be a perfect book for them. It should be in every Science Class and School Library.
