I wanted to share a new book I found a free Arc online called Threads of Mystery: Murder in Maybury Ridge by Lily Castle (Author). Inside the post is my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage from the products, you purchase.
David is home this morning with a Toothache and C is still out of Town. As usual my brother is camped out on the Couch. I felt myself becoming antsy, I was browsing online and found Threads of Mystery: Murder in Maybury Ridge,
I grabbed a drink and went out back to enjoy the Sun and opened up my computer and got lost in this amazing book. I love the Author’s style of writing, and this is the first book of hers I’ve read and it will not be the last book of hers I read.
In the story you will find the cutest Puppy and a thru-go getter in Agnes and someone I would like to be friends with. I enjoyed meeting all the characters and looking for the Murderer with her. If you like suspense and drama you will love this book.
About the book: Threads of Mystery: Murder in Maybury Ridge
Murder, Mystery, and Murmurs in Maybury Ridge
Stanley’s bark usually means biscuits—but not this time. When Agnes Lowe’s terrier drags her behind the arbor at the Maybury Ridge craft fair, she stumbles onto a body sprawled across a bench.
Gossip stitches its way through the retirement home. Which scrap of gossip holds the truth? Norma Clarke had quarrels with many—she bickered with Paul, clashed with Gerald, and tangled with Hank, the reporter—each story tugging the thread toward another suspect.
Agnes’s notebook fills with names and clues as she untangles the pride, jealousy, and money twisting Maybury Ridge into knots. Stanley barks at shadows no one else sees, and Detective Barlow notices the details others miss. But it’s Agnes who hears the truths tucked between whispers.
If she can’t cut through the chatter and spot the pattern, the next name whispered in Maybury Ridge may be her own.
Thank you,
