I would like to share a new book Charlie will be reading in his Language Arts Class and I also may have Charlie read the book in his History Class. Please check out The Abraham Lincoln Book of Quotes by Travis Hellstrom (Author). We received a copy in exchange for this review.

The Abraham Lincoln Book of Quotes is a collection of the best quotes, speeches, and advice from one of the most influential and greatest presidents of all time compiled together in one place and reaches out to an America, and a world, which need them more than ever.

Inside the book you will find a quote that describes me to a t “My best friend is a person who will give me a book I have not read.” —Abraham Lincoln. Because if I had the opportunity you would find me in a corner reading all day long just as my dad used to do before he passed away.

The book is small enough to fit in your pocket or purse but packed with enough quotes to keep you reading for hours on end. I love how the Author reminds us Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President and Charlie will be able to add this book to our lessons to read when we study the Presidents this year.

Abraham Lincoln’s words have been a source of wisdom and inspiration for so many people in all walks of life. Including Abraham Lincolns Gettysburg Address to his personal letters to his wife. There is always something new to learn about the man and, in turn, about ourselves.

I love how the Author has taken the time to divide the book into sections by themes including kindness which we all need to practice daily, leadership which Charlie needs to learn more about as he prepare to go out on his own. Peace which the world needs more of. As well as education which everyone needs no, matter there age. Along with family and much more.

You will find The Abraham Lincoln Book of Quotes is a quick read and that even people who struggle with reading will be able to read and learn from this book. It’s a fun and easy book to share with friends or teachers you come across. Because this book is a wonderful gift for anyone who likes Abraham Lincoln or learning quotes you will find it inside your Christmas Gift Guide 23.

I love how Abraham Lincoln lets us know that everything he is is because of his Angel mother. I feel like this about my daughter and my parents as well. Charlie and I found several quotes we will be printing out to hang on our school room walls and if you read the book I bet you would as well.

You will find The Abraham Lincoln Book of Quotes can be read at one time and in order or you can pick sections to read each day and discuss them with your family. In our home we choose a section in the morning and pick out a quote to read and discuss then another at night before we all go to bed. Which has brought us closer together and brought conversation back into our homes and gotten us out of front of the TV which is a Godwink.
