Unique Holidays: December 4th, 2021

Welcome to our series sharing Unique Holidays: December 4th, 2021. Today is Santa’s List Day. Have you written and mailed your letter to Santa? It isn’t to late. Just make sure you’ve been good before you send your letter. Then gran a pair of brown shoes to wear if you venture out today which is wear brown shoes day. Which I plan on sitting out because I don’t care for Brown Shoes. How about you?

Santa’s’ List Day – always December 4th. Are on the “Nice” list?

Today is Santa’s List Day. I would like to ask you a question. Have you been good all year? Or have you been Naughty? Only, Santa knows.

Santa’s Elves have been everywhere, checking up on children and adults all over the world. To see who has been naughty, and who has been nice. Thanks to the hard work of Santa’s Elves, Santa Claus has two lists. The short list contains the names of a few children who have been naughty. A much longer list is filled with the names of children who have been good all year long.

Which list are you on?

Kids….. make sure to be good around the Holidays because that’s when parents need children to be on their best behavior, as they are busy preparing for the Holidays.

Origin of Santa’s List Day:

We have it on good authority, that this Holiday was created at the North Pole.

We interviewed Santa, and a few of his top Elves and they tell us that they strive to make the first draft of Santa’s “Naughty” and “Nice” lists by this Holiday. Then, they review and adjust the list, all the way to Christmas Eve.

Santa told us that doing extra chores, or something special to help out around the house between now and Christmas, will get you off the “Naughty” list, and onto the “Nice” list.

Wear Brown Shoes Day– always on December 4th.

Wear Brown Shoes Day is today. Now, let me see… what color shoes should I wear today????? BROWN!!!!

WOW! It is very easy to participate in this Holiday. Dust off that seldom worn pair of brown shoes, and put ’em on.  Brown boots, loafers, or any other brown colored footwear will do. Don’t tiptoe around wear these brown shoes wherever you go.

In case you didn’t know… the sock color of the day is brown as well.

History and Origin of Wear Brown Shoes Day:

Wear Brown Shoes Day was likely created by someone who was tired of wearing the same old black shoes. Or perhaps, it was the dress code theme of a school day event.

Thank you,
