Why? The Human Body

I would like to share two books from National Geographics I received Why? The Human Body by National Geographic Kids (Author) and Almanac 2024 in exchange for this review.

I sat down this afternoon to flip through the book to see what facts we would be able to use in our Homeschool Science Class. As I started to thumb through the book, I liked finding out its a paperback book that looks like a hard cover book but made study enough the pages will not tear or fall out when using the book.

I was intrigued with the pictures on the cover of the book including the bucket of Popcorn that I wish I had some as I looked through the book and found myself reading the information and making notes to share with David and Charlie. The closer I looked the cover I found a fact a question I could ask Charlie in our pe class. Which is “why does music make me move? Do you know why? If not you should pick up a copy of this book asap.

Before you ask yes, I could share our copy with you, but I plan on using Why? Human Body for multiple classes. I know Charlie will want to share the book with his friends. If you do not want to wait for Charlie and his friends to finish with our copy you will need to purchase your own copy which you can find on Amazon.

I loved finding out there is different sections or chapters including Anatomy, Gross which Charlie and David will like. As well as Future and so much more. There is even a section on the grossest animals which we can study when we begin our Animal Studies. Would you like to join us and find out which animals they are?

Charlie let me know this book reminded him of a Comic Book or Anime. David just let me know it’s plan fun to read and he can’t wait to see what all Charlie and I learn through this book and then he let me know we should order more books from National Geographics for our niece and nephew for Christmas.

They are 8 and 9 and would enjoy the pictures and be able to read this book on their own and their parents could sit down in the evening to read a page or two a night and discuss what they learned and how it affects them in real life just as I plan on doing with David and Charlie. David amazed me when he tried to read the book on his own and only needed a little bit of help from Charlie.
