I was looking through the blog this morning I found this post that talked about 2016 and the Blessings my family received. As I sat down and reread it I knew we receive blessings each and ever day. So I wanted to share this post to remind us all of that.
Can I ask you what your blessings for this year have been so far? As we have had many and I know the lord will continue to bring more through our lives. So I wish you the best today and everyday.
I would like to begin this Blessings Post by saying I am Praying t 2016 was everything you had hopped it would be and more than you ever expected. I also hope 2017 will be all you would like for it to be. As I know it can be scary going into a new year but I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
As for our family we had a lot of scary moments this year with David being unemployed and ending up hurt at work. Charlie being bullied again this time in our own yard. As well as watching my dads health go down hill even more this year.
Today as I sat down and looked at my home I am blessed as we have a home that we can pay for even when David doesn’t get many hours at work. Our home is close to the things Charlie and I need to get to such as his school. As, David works so much and has the car that we have to walk a lot of the time. Or we can ride our bikes David and the Lord blessed us with.
I didn’t lose the weight I wanted to lose but that is OK as God has blessed me with the ability to get out and walk daily in a beautiful park. Or we can ride our bikes for the exercise we need to get each day. As well as use the Treadmill David blessed me with.
Our family was Blessed with a new son in law Toby as Leslie was married this year. So I am proud to introduce Toby to everyone and to announce he is in the Army and serves our country. Leslie and Toby are expecting there first child which will be Davids 4th grandchild.
I was able to spend more time with Davids mom this year and Bless her with events I attended for the blog like Bone Fish Grill, Out Back Steak House and Carraba’s Italian Grill.
Sherry and I were able to attend the Gym as she was kind enough to purchase a membership for us which included David and Charlie. So Sherry and I were able to walk in the pool on the days she was able to get out. Which has brought us closer together. Even though my mom isn’t here and I miss my mom a lot having Sherry in my life is like having a second mom and a true blessing to our family.
My family was Blessed with a down payment on our own home as my dad has set aside ad certain amount of money for the down payment for either this trailer or another house we find when we are ready to look to find our forever home. So I am excited about this and I can’t wait to start looking for our home. As it means Charlie will always have a roof over his head no, matter what happens.
I was also Blessed to make new friends this year on the blog like Thaleia Maher and to continue my friendship with people online that I am proud to call my family. Renee Brown, Karren Haller and Elle Emme. Without these ladies love and support as well as encouragment I wouldn’t be where I am today. Nor would there be a blog for you to come and visit.
Through the blog this year I was able to purchase Christmas for Charlie and David without having to have David use the money he brings into our home. Which allowed us to catch up on some bills.
Even though I might not have gotten everything I wanted or thought I needed in 2016 God provided for my family in many new and different ways and I am Blessed and I can’t wait to see where we Soar to next year.
So Please be watching in 2017 as my family continues to work on growing and building a blog that we can be proud of.
