My First Cupcake Decorating Book

With Charlie returning to school I knew we would have classroom parties in his class with today I am happy to share with you a new children’s cookbook I was sent to review called My First Cupcake Decorating Book . I would like to let you know I was sent a copy of My First Cupcake Decorating Book for this review, but the thoughts in the review are all mine and my families.

My First Cupcake Decorating Book: 35 recipes for decorating cupcakes, cookies and cake pops for children aged 7 years + by [Akass, Susan]

I sat down and looked through My First Cupcake Decorating Book inside I found many fun and unique cupcakes my family can make. With all the different choices I don’t even know which Cupcake to create first. I like that there are cupcakes for boys and girls. If truth is none, there are a lot of cupcakes in My First Cupcake Decorating Book even adults wouldn’t mind tasting.

If I weren’t on a diet, I would like to make one of the cupcakes to try out. Once we prepare the cupcakes I think it would be fun to have Charlies friends over to have dessert with us. Or we could just invite my sister over as she loves to Bake as much as Charlie does. Maybe I could get Debbie to help Charlie prepare the cupcakes while I work.

Charlie used to go to his grannies once a month to bake a cake with her to bring home for his lunch. I can’t wait to share My First Cupcake Decorating Book with Sherry and Charlie will find quite a few cupcakes to make. I can even see Granny Sherry purchasing a copy of My First Cupcake Decorating Book, for her great grandkids and their moms because they would be able to spend time together. Sherry believes parents should spend time with their children in the kitchen and I agree with Granny Sherry on this and so does David Charlie’s father.

If you aren’t a fan of cupcakes inside My First Cupcake Decorating Book you will find cookie recipes and cake pops  you can create with your children. Charlie and I both love cookies and I know, we will be using the cookie recipes, to prepare cookies for our friends and family.

Neither Charlie or I have ever had a Cake Pop and I am thinking I might make them next Friday to surprise Charlie with. Charlie friends Bradley and Aidan should be coming home with Charlie from school. When I bake the Cake Pops the boys can decorate them and take one home to there families. Which would be a nice treat for their parents.

I love inside My First Cupcake Decorating Book you will find recipes telling you how to make the desserts and you wouldn’t have to purchase a box cake mix and I know, the recipes in My First Cupcake Decorating Book would taste much better than cupcakes from a box.

I didn’t even mention there are recipes for Brownies inside My First Cupcake Decorating Book and Brownies are my sisters and nephews favorite dessert. I can’t wait to make the Brownies for them for Christmas. Charlie can help me decorate the Brownies and the Brownies will make the perfect Christmas present for my sister and my nephew and his family.

If we were able to visit my dad this year, there is a recipe in My First Cupcake Decorating Book for Gingerbread. David and my father both like Gingerbread a lot. I could make the Gingerbread and take it up to my dad’s for our breakfast. Surprising both David and my father because Gingerbread isn’t something they would expect.

I also like knowing the Gingerbread recipes gives our children tips on how to do different things used in baking like breaking eggs and separating them to use in the recipes we will be preparing.

For a new and unique Gift for the students and the teachers at Christmas you could make Stained Glass Window Cookies which I will be creating for my home. Along with Charlie’s teachers and my sister and his grandmother because they can use the cookies  to decorate their home with and these would be something they haven’t ever had.

Inside the back of My First Cupcake Decorating Book are templates for you to use when creating cupcakes. As well as a list of places to order supplies. I liked having the supply list because I wouldn’t have to search for the items needed to create the cupcakes and the supply list would save me time?

I hope you take the time to check out My First Cupcake Decorating Book because I am sure you would like My First Cupcake Decorating Book  as much as Charlie and I did. Be watching to see which Cupcakes we make. Also if we need to run to the store and pick up ingredients or supplies to make the cupcakes.

With David being off on Monday and my sister as well you may just find us all in the kitchen decorating cupcakes. The only problem with that is getting us to all agree on one flavor and one design. But heck that may not happen. Make sure you come back and see what we do or don’t do.

I would like to let you know My First Cupcake Decorating Book is the perfect addition to Homeschooling classrooms as it covers reading, art, science, and math. If your looking for a new and fun addition to your classroom make sure you take the time to pick up a copy of My First Cupcake Decorating Book which we will be using in our classroom a lot this year and I think you should as well.
