Homemade Snack Mixes

Charlie and I are preparing for his Back to School Party/ Camp Out. I knew we would need lots and lots of snacks. Boys can eat us out of house and home. Although no matter how much they eat boys can also be picky eaters. I wanted to have a variety of snacks I could prepare quickly.

I wanted to find snacks that would be easy for the boys to eat but wouldn’t be messy. Or allow them to create a mess I would need to clean up. I thought about what I could serve I went online and found recipes for Homemade Snack Mixes. I plan on preparing. and as I was putting this list together I thought you might want to check out the recipes as well.

I have a question for you besides Hot Dogs, Smores, Popsicle and Homemade Snack Mixes below what all do you think I should get for the kids? Should I pick up some Fruit? Also, what do you think I should get them to drink? It’s going to be hot outside which means milk is out.

I wouldn’t want the boys to have a lot of Sodas. Because they do not need a lot of Sugar. I  plan on purchasing bottles of water and Single Serve Drink Mix packets so the boys can prepare there own drinks. That evening as a special treat we will be making Milk Shakes if the boys are good.

David and I were going through Homemade Snack Mixes list. David can’t wait to try out Nuts and Bolts Robot Trail Mix as it would fit in perfect with some of the crafts we will doing. Charlie and David said they wish they had known about Nuts and Bolts Robot Trail Mix. Nuts and Bolts Robot Trail Mix would have made a nice addition at some of Charlie’s Birthday parties. I agree with Charlie and David and I could see using Nuts and Bolts Robot Trail Mix at David’s Birthday party as well.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
