My Very Own Pirate Tale

David and I have been having trouble getting Charlie to sit down and focus when it comes time to reading. I have been thinking I would like to start a day when we read together on and share the book we read with each other and then share our thoughts with you. It will not matter if we read the same book or if we read different books. It is just imperative that we read for 20 minutes every single day including weekends.

If you would like for your children to join us in our reading challenge and they read each day at the end of the month I will create a certificate you can print out and keep. The certificate will be able to  framed hung up in your classroom or you can keep the certificate in there reading binders.

I am waiting on My Very Own Pirate Tale from I See Me to arrive as I would like for it to be the first book Charlie and I read in the challenge.  I have a question for you have you purchased or read any books from I See Me and if so what did you like about them and what didn’t you like about them and why?

Please post the challenge on your blog and invite others to join us and if you can on Friday take a picture of your children and the books they will be reading and send  me a comment so I can see who all is participating. Since, Charlie and I we are  waiting on a new book from I See Me  we will be going through our books to see what we would like to start with.

So come and join us and lets bring reading back into our homes.

I would like to let you know I See Me is sending me a copy of  My Very Own Pirate Tale Personalized Storybook, Bandana, and Sticker Gift Set in exchange for a review Charlie and I conduct for them. Although the thoughts in the review and in the challenge are mine and my families and no, one else.
