4th Grade Reading & Math

Charlie struggles in reading and math and is just barely on the 4th grade level. I would like to help Charlie move ahead. This way Charlie will not  struggle or fall behind and will be on the right level next year as he goes into 5th grade. Rach year when Charlie progresses another grade level it will just get harder and harder for Charlie. Both David and I would hate for Charlie to give up and dropout like his sister Ashley and his brother Travis did.

This week as I was trying to decide what to use for Book Reports because I wanted to  make sure Charlie was comprehending what he is reading. I went to Educents and Amazon where I found the following items I plan on purchasing for Charlie once David is paid. By purchasing the Complete Curriculum: Grade 4 I will not need to spend any more money as it covers everything I want to work on with Charlie this year.

These workbooks provide hundreds of fun pages for practicing all the skills kids need to succeed in each grade. Compiled from the popular Reading Skills, Spelling Skills, Math Skills, Language Arts, Writing Skills, and test Prep series, these colorful workbooks include: High interest stories to develop reading proficiency; exercises in math problems students will face; grade appropriate spelling words grouped by vowel sound or suffix; lessons in parts of speech, usage, and constructing sentences; creative prompts for writing sentences, letters, and even short reports; and practice in using standardized test formats.
