Rubik’s Cube Units and Lessons

Did you know it’s the Birthday of the Rubiks Cubes Birthday? I didn’t until I was online looking for things for Charlie to study this week. When I found an email letting me know it was Rubik’s Cubes Birthday. I remember as a child seeing Rubik’s Cube and trying to solve the cube and I couldn’t. I ended up frustrated with Rubik’s Cube and refused to have anything to do with Rubik’s Cube . I went online and found these Homeschool Resources classified as Unit Studies/ Lesson Plans Rubik’s Cube.

My brother was different and was obsessed with Rubik’s Cube and was determined to figure out how to put the Rubik’s Cube together. I honestly don’t think he ever got Rubik’s Cube fixed. Although my brother is grown I believe he still has a couple Rubik’s Cubes  and takes them out and try’s to put them together.

Then the last time my brother visited he picked up Rubik’s Cube for Charlie. Charlie tried for a couple of days to figure out how to put Rubik’s Cube together, and Charlie never figured out how to get the Rubik’s Cube fixed. The Rubik’s Cubes is sitting on the shelf in Charlie’s room.

For something to do I am going to let Charlie do the free lesson on NEA (National Education Association). I might even see if David wants to do this lesson with Charlie because David loves Rubik’s Cube and David likes trying to fix Rubik’s Cubes . David has more patience than I do and can help Charlie.
