⏰ Morning Show Mysteries Watch Order (Hallmark Cozy Mystery Night)

The Mommies Reviews

Here is a fun fact I thought I would share about myself I never used to watch murder mystery shows. Like horror movies Charlie and David like watching I used to think those shows would keep me up at night. Then one day I found Hallmark Mystery and since then I’ve been hooked on mysteries. David too.

In the past Charlie used to try to get me into them, but I always stuck with Hallmark romance movies because they felt safe and predictable, and I always knew how they would end. And honestly, I watched those romance movies so many times I probably didn’t even need to look at the screen anymore.

But then we moved into our townhome, and things started to shift a little. There was one afternoon where nothing on TV felt new anymore. Every Hallmark romance movie was a rerun. Same stories, same endings, same comfort — but also a little boredom starting to creep in.

I kept flipping channels, just trying to find something different without even knowing what I wanted. And I landed on a Hallmark mystery movie. I didn’t plan it. I didn’t search for it. I just stopped flipping and left it on. And I ended up watching the whole thing.

It wasn’t scary like I thought it would be. It was calm in a strange way — more about people, everyday life, and noticing little details that turn into something bigger. And that’s how I ended up here… watching these all the time now with David sometimes but more times than not by myself and yes, I do sleep at night.

🎬 Morning Show Mysteries (Why I Actually Love It)

One of the mystery shows I found while browsing Hallmark was called The Morning Show Mysteries. This is one of the Hallmark mystery series I ended up watching and loving. David and even my sister Debbie enjoys this series and watches it with me when she is visiting.

This series of movies stars Holly Robinson Peete as Blythe, a chef who keeps getting pulled into murder investigations. She’s not trying to be a detective — she just notices things other people miss, and somehow that keeps putting her right in the middle of everything.

And I like the people in it too. Her aunt is part of her life in the series, and there’s also the gentleman who works with her in the restaurant — and II love him and his dog. But the man detective Rick Fox played by is oh so fine. David and I want to see what other shows he might be in.

But what really keeps me watching is how natural everything feels. It doesn’t feel like a loud crime show. It feels like everyday life with a mystery sitting right in the middle of it. That’s why I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it. Its also a clean show so families can watch it because there isn’t anything children shouldn’t see.

📺 Where to Watch Morning Show Mysteries

This is part of the Hallmark Mystery movie collection (formerly Hallmark Movies & Mysteries).

You can usually find it on:

  • Hallmark Mystery Channel (when it airs in rotation)
  • Hallmark+ streaming app (best place to find the full set)
  • Amazon (rent or buy — a lot of people use it, even if we don’t) I was surprised to find its out on DVD giving me the perfect gift for my sister
  • Amazon (rent or buy — a lot of people use it, even if we don’t) I was surprised to find its out on DVD giving me the perfect gift for my sister Debbie.

Hallmark moves these movies around a lot, so you might have to search for them depending on the week.

Just type in:
“Morning Show Mysteries watch order” or “Hallmark Mystery Movies”

They’ll usually show up somewhere.

⏰ When Does It Air?

As much as I hate to say it this is NOT a weekly show. There is no set schedule like “Tuesday at 8 PM.”

Instead, Hallmark places these movies into:

  • Weekend mystery marathons
  • Afternoon movie blocks
  • Random reruns
  • Seasonal Hallmark Mystery events

So it’s more of a “catch it when it’s on” situation.

🎬 How Many Movies Are in the Series?

There are 7 movies total in the Morning Show Mysteries series. Just enough to keep us entertained but not tied to our tv for weeks on end. Each story has is its own story, but they connect through the characters, which is why watching them in order makes everything feel smoother and more natural.

🎬 Morning Show Mysteries Watch Order (And Why It Works Best)

1. Murder on the Menu– This is where everything starts. You meet Blythe in her normal life before mystery becomes part of it.

2. A Murder in Mind-The detective partnership starts forming here.

3. Countdown to Murder– Blythe starts getting pulled into cases more directly.

4. Death by Design– The rhythm of the series starts feeling familiar and steady.

5. A Murder in the Headlines– The cases become more public and tied to media.

6. The Death of a News Anchor– This one focuses more on truth, observation, and details.

7. The Deadly Recipe– Everything circles back to food, kitchens, and everyday life.
