January 29th is National Puzzle Day

I have a question for you and the question who you. Did you know January 29th is National Puzzle Day? I didn’t but I’m so glad #Hallmark let me know because not only myself but David and Charlie love working on Puzzles. Puzzles help me relax and gives me time to myself. Which I do not get enough of. I ‘m proud to announce I’m adding #Hallmark to this years Valentines Day Gift Guide. If your looking for something new and unique to give to those on your Valentines Gift Guide list I hope you take the time to check out the puzzles Hallmark has to offer us.

American Cars of the 1960's Car Jigsaw Puzzle

Since Charlie was a little baby we’ve made Sunday “FAMILY DAY” and whatever Charlie wants to do is what we would do. Here lately Charlie had been attending Church with his Aunt Debbie although recently he hasn’t been attending Church because my sister always works and couldn’t pick up Charlie for church. There isn’t anyone else to take Charlie to Church to meet his Aunt because David works on Sunday’s.

The more I ask  Charlies what he would like to do on Sundays Charlie says he just wants to play his Play Station 3 game system or get on his tablet. Or my computer to watch movies even though we have the TV and could watch movies together. This is making me tired and frustrated because David and I know this isn’t good for Charlies ADHD.

Today is Sunday and once again I asked Charlie what he wanted to do.  Charlie said I want to play my Wrestling Game on my Play Station. Once Charlie said that he then asked me if I would play with him or at least sit with him while he plays. Now, I could do this but I refuse to sit there while Charlie plays those games.

Before Charlie went into his room to get on his Play Station I decided to find something we could do as a family besides Board Games because Charlie hasn’t wanted to do them in a while. I had Charlie help me clean our house because my sister is supposed to come over for Dinner.  I sat out a couple Jigsaw Puzzles we can put together as a family.

One of the puzzles I chose was one Hallmark Puzzle we receive for a review. Before we begin putting the puzzle together I would like to let you know the thoughts in the review are all mine and my families. If you can’t find me for a while I will be cleaning off  the dinning room table and making us all something to drink and putting snacks out so we can put our puzzle together as a family. Once the week starts we get busy and do not spend as much time together as I would like.

As we work on the puzzle I will be able to share some stories with Charlie about when I was younger and used to put puzzles together with my  Aunt Katherine and my grandmother. I can let Charlie know we stayed up all night to finish one puzzle we were doing. Then how not long after we finished the puzzle my Aunt Katherine got sick and passed away.

I want to teach Charlie how important it is  to spend time with the ones we love. Along with how fast things can change in the blink of an eye and someone you saw 5 minutes ago might not be here in the next 5 minutes and you wouldn’t ever get a chance to tell them goodbye. Make sure  everyone know knows how you feel about them.

If you love spending time with your family I hope you take the time to check out Hallmark and to pick up a couple puzzles because as I said earlier  January 29th is National Puzzle Day. If you do visit Hallmark and purchase a puzzle leave me a comment and let us know which puzzle you picked out and who will help you put the puzzle together with. Once your done make sure nd tag #LoveHallmark with your purchase as they would like to know which puzzle you chose.

#LoveHallmark

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
