I would like to share a new addition to our Christmas Gift Guide 23: Wanderlust: A Traveler’s Guide to the Globe by Moon Travel Guides (Author) I received a copy of for this review.
Before I share my thoughts on this Coffee-Table book I would like to let you know it’s bigger than most books and its also heavy. You need two books to pick it up This is a book the family will crowd around the coffee table and look through together as they build a bucket list of places to travel to.
The table of contents allowed Charlie and I look up chapters to use in our Homeschool Geography class. Charlie can’t wait to check out Where to Stargaze and I can’t wait to read The Craziest Buildings In The World. I can’t wait until Christmas morning to see what David thinks of the book and why.
I love how the Author included Maps which Charlie will be studying this year. The print in the book is small and I had trouble reading it so I will have to make sure Charlie has his glasses when were using the book. The illustrations are going to keep you entertained for hours on end. I can see Charlie recapturing the photos in his Art Class.
There is lots of States and Animals Charlie will be able to study this year. Charlie and I were surprised to find Zanzibar The Island of Spices which Charlie can use in his Homeschool Cooking Class. The Author has even included The Aurora Borealis which I would love seeing in person one day. How about you?
I love how the Author included 50 cities to visit in your life because some of thee are close enough my family could visit them one day. In our Art Class Charlie will be reading Street Art and Murals Around the World. If you need a night out then you should check out Legendary Hotels. If your hungry or thirsty check out Legendary Bars and Cafes.
New Years is right around the corner and Charlie and I can read Where to Ring In The New Years to add to our studies on the New Year. For Music Class Charlie and I can read The Craziest Music Festivals. For Valentines Day make sure you check out 20 Romantic Places In The World to take your significant other to.
This is just a little bit of what you will find inside Wanderlust: A Traveler’s Guide to the Globe by Moon Travel Guides which is much more than a travel guide. I hope you purchase a copy not only for your family but for friends and family that enjoy traveling or families who are homeschooling. As well as Travel Guides and Teachers.
